Afterthought

And when all is said
When what’s done is
Done
When dust does whatever
Dust does
He was one lonely man

The boxes of belongings
No longer belonging
To him
When time heals
And fate seals
The lid on that lonely man

The space left
When he left his life
Is small
The time spent being
Is not being anymore
One lonely man no more.
